Josh Marino serves as Project Lead for Summer Internships and Cooperative Study Programs for Undergraduates. Josh is Assistant Director for Education and Outreach at the Human Engineering Research Laboratories and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh’s Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling Masters program. He is a member of the 2014 cohort of HERL’s Experiential Learning for Veterans in Assistive Technology and Engineering (ELeVATE) program, an experiential research program that he now coordinates and leads. Josh is a combat-wounded Veteran of the US Army and serves as HERL’s onsite Veteran/Peer mentor. He serves as the project leader on T1.
